If you already own a microscope and wish to create either a 2D, 3D, or rapid 4D digital workstation, Intelligent Imaging Innovations, Inc. can custom retrofit your existing system. We can provide all necessary hardware (i.e. CCD camera, X-Y stage, stepper motor, filter wheels, shutter, light source, computer, etc.) and SlideBook™ software to convert your microscope into a fully automated digital system. We have retrofitted upright and inverted Leica, Zeiss, Nikon, and Olympus systems. |

Our entry level digital microscopy systems are 2D retrofits. These systems consist of Base SlideBook™ with image capture and no neighbors deconvolution. They are ideal for fixed 2D imaging and 2D time lapse imaging. The 2D retrofit includes the following:
The 2D retrofit is driven by SlideBook™. This allows the collection, display and analysis of 2D and 2D timelapse data. The 2D retrofit is an ideal entry point into digital microscopy. All the software and hardware are appropriate for more advanced retrofit applications like 3D. |
2D Multi-Wavelength |

2D retrofits can be upgraded to perform multi-fluor imaging by adding filter wheels, and an excitation source shutter. These retrofits are ideal for multi-fluor 2D imaging and multi-fluor time lapse imaging. These systems can be configured for ratio imaging fluors like Fura-2. If you require rapid collection of 3D data, our rapid 4D retrofit offers millisecond z-axis stepping times and TTL synchronization of stepping and image capture. These retrofits can be built around our standard high-performance CCD cameras or special intensified cameras depending on the signal strength of the sample.
